Too funny - I grew up with three brothers, but I have a home of girls; however, there are some overlapping coincidences apparently. The most important thing we can give them is all that love, I guess. Thanks for sharing.

I have never read anything more true about boys! Oh how I love my sons. The best advice here is to buy good headphones and cheap pizza because boys definitely multiply. 😂

I feel like people overthink things. It's the little things that help you survive. Ha!

Love this. My one and only is a boy and all of the above is so true even with just 1. My son at the age of 3 stuck a playground pebble in his ear, it was about the size of a pea. I had to pick him up from daycare and take him to have it removed. He was insistent that “it fell in there when he was napping”. Hmmm hmmmm sure it did kiddo.

This was so sweet and I cracked up a little. Having a five year old nephew that lives with me reminds me a lot about what you said. My nephew has broken his elbow and both arms within a two month span. It’s like walking on egg shells but that’s how he learns. He played basketball and he did not play very well nor did he like it, but we cheered him on anyways. He was great during practice but once it was game day he was a shy little bug. We hope football is better for him. Raising a boy is tough but it’s so worth it. He asked his mama to marry him and he loves cuddling. I know that will change but for right now we’re enjoying his loving side.

I absolutely love hearing about your boys and you have raised them well. I have a son and a daughter but surprisingly she’s the one who has broken multiple bones. There is nothing like a son’s love for his Mom. Your advice about cheering them on is true regardless of whether you have boys or girls.

Oh my lanta have I ever heard anything more true?! I'm sure not. Destruction, mess, penis. Yes...that sums it up. But also the love. My two started out thinking I was the greatest in the world. Now I'm lucky to get a side hug as they leave to spend time with people who are, apparently, way more fun than me! It's fine. They'll need to eat and sleep eventually. My youngest is on his last month (gulp) of high school and it's happy and devastating all at the same time. Between the two boys, we've had a broken collar bone, a hip replacement, scars in the millions and one BB to the hand. At 3 years old. Yes, I was waiting for DHS/CPS, whatever, to come take my child. It had healed over the wound by the time we knew it was there, so the explanation of how it happened is still sketchy. He lived and continued to live with me so all is well.

I don't stop them from being them, but I do remind them to be safe, I love them and "don't do stupid shit". Their response: "no promises". Ahhhh...being a boy mama is GREAT!! <8 :)

I love this. I have two and all I asked was 1 year not Jan to Dec just one whole year without a trip to ER. I was fine until I git pregnant with my second on then it all started. Between both they've had two broken arms a broken elbow and a broken foot. And my youngest has replaced the skin on his face multiple times with one accident then another. But even with all his scars he's still got the cheekest smile I've ever seem.
